Every year on the 3rd weekend of August we gather at the World Renowned Gross National Golf Club in Minneapolis MN to compete for the prestigious Ed Coke Cup. This amazing golf course and venue has played host to some of the best including the 1964 USGA National Publinks Championship. Up next the 5th annual Delta Chi Scholarship Scramble!
The stage has been set for August 17th, 2013 with tee times beginning at noon sharp. The format is a two man scramble, you and your cart buddy against the world. You each take a stroke and play the better of the shots, no more than 2 putts per green and plenty of on course games with fantastic prizes! With the purchase of a “Playa’s Kard” you get one mulligan and registration in the on course competitions. A long drive on #12, Closest to the pin on #17, hit the green on #3 and your in a drawing for a brand new putter…
The Cost you ask: Golf and 1/2 a cart is $50.42 each at the clubhouse, buy a “Playa’s Kard” from me for just $30 (proceeds go to the scholarship fund). We’ll also have some beverages and grill food back at 1601 University (U of MN Chapter House) following golf.
Already registered are our returning champions, back in search of a 2-peat: Gabriel Benson and Dereck Flom. Who will join me in battling these weekend hackers for the cup? Call your partner and sign up now! Only 8 tee times were available so 32 men, 16 teams and one will win the Ed Coke Cup! Email me right away with your partners name and I’ll add it to the list below. No partner – No problem, I’ll hook you up with someone at the event, there will be plenty of opportunities for all!
