On April 2nd, the active chapter initiated 7 associate members into our chapter. This initiation marks another milestone for our chapter. For the first time in 124 years, the Minnesota Chapter of Delta Chi will be home to more than 100 men strong.
Your support has allowed us to reach new levels as a chapter. Day in and day out, your efforts have driven us to the top.
We appreciate everyone that came out on Saturday for the Spring Initiation, and we couldn’t have been more excited to welcome the 7 new active members into our chapter. It was especially strengthened by the many Alumni that came out to support and reinforce the many reasons we all joined Delta Chi.
Until next Fall!

Thank you for your continued support over the last few years as we have worked to get the alumni chapter off the ground. The chapter would not be in the position it is without you!
In order to provide programming and social events we rely on your dues. We are happy to report that dues will remain the same from last year.
- Those who were last active as an undergraduate member within the last 5 years will pay $50.
- Those who were last active as an undergraduate member more than 5 years ago will pay $100.
We are planning on the following alumni events this year:
April 11 – Founders Day. We will celebrate 123 years of existence at the U of M! What better way to celebrate our history than by welcoming new members into the bond. The undergraduate chapter will be initiating 4 men into Delta Chi this night. Information related to the start time will be available shortly. Appetizers and cash bar will be provided, but feel free to bring your own beverage.
August 15 – Golf Event. We will tee off the Scholarship Scramble at noon. More details to come as we get closer to the event.
September 25th & 26th – Homecoming U of M. Bring the family out for the parade on Friday and stay after for socializing. Come by Saturday morning for the annual omelet chef and scholarship raffle. The alumni chapter will provide food and non-alcoholic beverages for attendees and their guests.
Throughout the year – The alumni chapter also hosts regular meetings and happy hours and provides appetizers for attendees. Any updates to the meeting schedule will be posted on the chapter’s website: www.twincitiesdeltachi.com. Please join us!

I would like to take this opportunity to invite you and your family out to the University of Minnesota Homecoming celebration the weekend of October 17 and 18. The Gophers take on Purdue at 11 am on Saturday. The Twin Cities Alumni Chapter will provide an array of non-alcoholic drinks and light snacks, but feel free to bring an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage of your choosing and hang out with fellow alumni. The festivities will continue after the parade as many alumni will stay to socialize with their brothers and meet the current actives.

Throughout the weekend we will sell raffle tickets and host a silent auction to raise money for the Twin Cities Delta Chi Scholarship fund. All donations are tax deductible and receipts will be provided. The silent auction and prize drawing will start at 1030 am. The game starts at 11 am; if you do not have tickets, alumni are encouraged to continue the day’s festivities at a local watering hole nearby as we usually do!
